Search, the compass question has been debated many times. I don't see myself using the altimeter at all, but is the electronic compass something I should be thinking about? It amounts to a $20 difference in price from what I've seen.Īlso does anyone think it's worth holding out for a first GPS for the new Magellans? I understand that the only real difference between the two models in the electronic compass and barometric altimeter.
